Tiller extension joint with safety rope QUICKCHANGE

The QUICKCHANGE is a custom-made processed tiller extension joint with safety rope by Sprenger for our carbon tiller extension. The set includes a pre-drilled tiller extension joint with security rope, two security pins, a 6cm piece self-adhesive tape that sticks perfectly even in wet conditions, a second 12 cm self-adhesive tape and a piece of shrink tube. Delivered in a small zip-lock bag, this set in combination with our tiller extension should no longer be missing in any equipment.

With the help of this set, a broken tiller extension joint can be exchanged on the water within a very short time, no further race has to be given up because of leaving the race area to the harbour. First, remove the old, broken joint. Then insert the new tiller extension joint in the tiller extension and turn the hole in the correct position. Then push the one pin through the holes and secure the place with the tape under light tension. The second pin serves as a replacement, should the first be lost while exchanging. Back in the harbour you can visually correct the place with the shrink
